Advocacy and Gender Specialist

Key Responsibility: 1. Coordinate with partner organizations to conduct diagnostic assessment surveys of their organizational advocacy and/or public outreach capacity 2. Encourage CSOs and IOAs to clearly define areas to be monitored. 3. Assist CSOs in developing advocacy messages using information packaged and tailored to target audiences, including citizens, IOAs and other stakeholders as appropriate. 4. Promote CSOs use of external evidence-based data in their advocacy and gender activities. This may include using information from GoT performance audits and social accountability monitoring (SAM) produced reviews of GoT performance in specific sectors 5. Develop indicators for assessing progress with gender mainstreaming, adapted to the various activities implemented by CSOs and IOAs. 6. Management of issue based dialogues and forums in collaboration with CSOs and IOAs. Source: The Guardian
