Head of Internal Audit

This is a full-time on-site role in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for a Head of Internal Audit. The Head of Internal Audit will be responsible for directing the internal audit function and ensuring that the organization meets regulatory and compliance obligations. The role involves evaluating internal controls, identifying weaknesses, and developing appropriate corrective actions. The Head of Internal Audit will also be responsible for assessing financial risks and ensuring that adequate financial controls are in place.

Qualifications
• Analytical Skills and Financial Risk Management skills
• Experience in Finance, Internal Controls, and Accounting
• Knowledge of auditing industry frameworks and methodologies
• Ability to identify issues and develop appropriate corrective actions
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is preferred
• Previous experience in an internal audit role is required
